Alison Epp’s passion to support and advocate for women who have experienced violence comes from personal experience. Alison comes to When Love Hurts and the field of counselling with a deep interest in walking with individuals through their experiences with a trauma-informed (more specifically, violence-informed), client-centered approach, creating safety, connection and support. As a survivor of violence herself, Alison brings empathetic understanding and hope for healing and continued resilience.
Alison has a Master’s of Counselling Psychology and works in a counselling practice providing individual and group counselling. Alison continues to co-facilitate a WLH support group through MCC Saskatoon and is passionate about continuing to support and advocate for individuals who are and have experienced abuse. Alison is re-married to her partner Derek, is a proud mother of 2 young children and loves to stay active, adventure with her family.
