This online training can enhance your skills and perspective to support women who are experiencing abuse from a partner
Supporting women who have experienced abuse is vitally important work. You meet women at their most exhausted and vulnerable state. Imagine if you, as an advocate and professional, had access to a proven framework and comprehensive guide that will strengthen your practice and enrich the support you offer to women.
When Love Hurts Best Practice Guide provides you with a state-of-the-art approach that will transform your practice
Many women with experiences of abuse face systemic service barriers. Women with experiences of abuse often navigate challenging circumstances. When women are turned away, or not offered violence-informed support, it can echo and amplify the dynamics of abuse. Research shows that the When Love Hurts approach is very effective for women who have overlapping experiences of woman abuse, substance and and/or mental health concerns. This two-day training will give you a solid framework and a complete set of exercises to effectively support women impacted by abuse.
